hi, have you tried this list yet in game? and id actually recommend exchange a tac squad for another assault becase ba tac squads just arent up to par with the other chapters, vanilla, da, etc. And also you keep foorgetting dante make sang gaurd troops choices

Australia - Gold Coast

Can't have Dco Dread without Dco...you get 1 dread per 5 dco.

When in doubt get Mephiston out!

Ok this is my advice. Take it as you will because we may have different playing styles.
Yeh that d dred needs to be a furioso without death co. Run it in the raven
Drop all upgrades on the raven and run it naked to save you points. Lb and ea just arn't worth it. Side sponsoons are alright but i prefer the exta 30pts. The tl assault cannon on average is better against troops, hordes and av 12 13 and 14 compares to the lascannon.
I agree with iktinos - tac squads are bad synergy for BA. Swap them for 1 assault squad and 1 scout sniper squad to keep control of your board edge objectives. Also their razors will be going down quickly giving away 1st blood. Plus they dont do the job their ment to with the 6" move then deploy from the rear. Only ever take razors if its an assault razor spam. But if you do want to take them take them with las-plas!
Id drop the assault termis down to 5 man and replace the sang priest with corbulo for the hardest death star in the game. Pop them in the stormraven so they can assault right into the enemys face.
Furioso librarian always needs wings of sanguinius to keep up with the rest of the army. V expensive model though.
And drop the epistolary upgrade off the librarian. He can still cast 2 powers a turn if you give him shield of sanguinius since he can cast a power each PLAYER TURN and the shield is cast in opponents turn. Give him a jump pack and sanguine sword, run him in an assault squad and not only doea he give them cover saves but he also reduces anything thats not a landraideeor monoloith to scrap metal.
Drop the infernus pistol off your sang guard as any tank within 3" is going to get charged and ripped apart anyway.
With the points saved you should be able to get another storm raven, an honour guard for dante to give him and the nearby sang guard fnp bubble or maybe 2 or 3 jp priests to give your assault squads fnp.
Thats what i would do anyway. Hope it helps :-).

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Sorry about my mistappings - phone was running low and i rushed it. One other thing ive realised. Your sanguinary priests already in the list have no jump packs so cant support your assault units.
1 final thing i forgot to suggest. If you do run corbulo with the 5 assault termis in the raven and also have the furioso in there, DEFINITELY also run a naked librarian with that squad as he can cast presience on the dred and it will then WIPE any unit it encounter (that hasnt got a 2+) every time! 1 of my fav tactics.

Cheers! 2 storm ravens dropping furioso/death co blood taloned dreds in my opponents face who are then presienced is part of my usual list. Yeh the ravens have to drop to skimmer for the dreds to assault but they have already been on the board a turn so should have wiped any major threat to them the previous turn with the tl multimelta destroying one thing whilst the tl assault cannon and 2 bloodstrike missiles take something else. On average, if they both show up at the same time they kill 3 tanks if not 4. The dreds then mop up. And if im playing a highpoint game, assault termis and deathco also pop out with priest and lib (termis) and chaplain and lib (death co). Then you ensure there is a presiencing lib nearby for each dred. Only problem is if they get shot down before they have delivered (rare) because you lose a lot of high point models (although termis get a 3++).

On average, two loaded stormravens are a terrible risk. I don't know whom you play against, but even my list can down one of these things the turn it comes on. It is not rare for Stormravens to die. They only have 3 HP and AV 12.

With so much of your list in reserve, your pinning force has taken a beating, while enemy forces are relatively untouched.

Your math is also way off on how many tanks 2 Stormravens will kill. Especially if those tanks are wave serpents. Bloodstrike missile are not that amazing because against even AV 11, half the missiles won't get to roll penetration results.

Ideally, at 3K points, I would have four or five empty Stormraven gunships and an aegis line (or two) with commlink. Stormravens need to be spammed and at 3K points you can face a ton of anti-air.

I usually play 3k so can afford it. The melta is a guarenteed major damage at least. Whilst the combination of 8 st6 tl rending shots and 4 st8 ap1 shots will almost always take out a tank. Plus my 4 vindis and 6 flamestorm baals are usually in my opponents face so the ravens arnt exactly priority number 1.

Then they're not very good opponents. Loaded Stormravens are always the #1 priority. If they die, BA lists almost always lose.

None of the weapons on the Stormraven guarantee anything. Do the math on them. They're not as good as you claim both in practice and by mathematical averages.
