So i take it he's part of the black templars? Could he be converted into a Daemonhunters Inquisitor?

Thanks for the help.

I think any chapter can have an Emperor's Champion. But, sure, the model makes a great base for an inquisitor conversion. I did one and simply swapped-out the marine pack with one of the old metal scout ones to make it look a little less marine-ish.

Thanks for the advice, i painted the mini years ago when i was very young and the paint job is awful, so if all goes well i'll soak it in some dettol and hope the paint falls off. Then im planning to swap the sword for another melee weapon probably an axe of some sort.

Not exactly. Any company can have a Company Champion. There is a difference. The Black Templars have the Emperor's Champion, but they can also have one or more company champions (if you like fielding command squads).

Yeppers. It's an excellent model and fair game for conversions. Even for an inquisitor. That would be interestings, actually.

To the Original Poster, be sure to share before and after pictures when you are done.

How do you mean any chapter? I don't think my Blood Angels can have one.
btw, could you perhaps show your inquisitor conversion sometime?

only the Black Templars get to have the Emperor's Champion as an HQ choice, but the certainly doesn't preclude you using the model to represent something in the Blood Angels. I converted that very same model to be my Chaplain for my Blood Angels (well, Flesh Tearers). Add some wings and he'd make a kick-ass Sanguinor! the possibilities are endless.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that even though you can only field an Emperor's Champion in a game if it's Black Templars, story goes that any chapter can have an Emperor's Champion and that the title passes on from person to person. It's just that the Emperor sort of made it a habit with the Emperor's Champion being Black Templars. Correct me if I'm wrong.

He's perfect for DH armies, they converted one in the back of the codex, and they gave him an axe.

I had one, when 4th came about I converted him into my company champion.

Back in 3rd, every space marine could have taken the Emperor's Champion, thats how I got mine.

yeah, that's a pretty easy conversion.

I made a combat shiled out of rhino hatches, and attached a bot pistol to his empty hand. Whalla!

You don't even need to add the pistol to his hand.
He has one holstered.

I just added a spare storm shield to his left hand and use him as a captain with relic blade and storm shield.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

I cut that pistol out to make it seem as if he unholstered it to purge some serious xeno

I never really liked seeing characters that don't have unholsted weapons. Its the 41st milinium, there are things that want you dead and you didn't even undo your fancy leather holster? lol
