Anyone else had problems with Maxmini in the past? Are they reliable?

Lol yeah I placed an order Tuesday last week, standard delivery is 4-5 days. My order has been "processing" since then and then this week part of my order has gone out of stock.

I've had no contact from them about whether or my order has/can still be met, and they aren't responding to my emails.

Its not that I mind waiting, I just like to know how long. If people have found them reliable in the past I will probably just sit it out, If others experience is that they are unreliable and don't respond to emails then I might as well open a paypal dispute.

I can't recall anyone posting of specific issues, though stock levels being poor are mentioned every now and then.

They do have a presence here on the board though, and you could PM them with any specific questions.

Aren't they gearing up for Salute! and as such are on a bit of a low-level with their stocks?

MaxMini is in Poland. They have just had most of the government wiped out in a plane crash and the country is in official mourning.

Give them a few more days before you really start to worry.

Kilkrazy the polish guys I know can't stop laughing & joking about it.

Still, over a week after I place my order they decided they are now out of stock, don't offer to refund my money or even contact me to explain they are out of stock, and don't respond to my emails asking if/when my order can be fulfilled.

If move of the government of Poland has been wiped out, then whilst some people may be unmoved by that, there will still be offices and businesses closed. Days of mourning throughout the country etc.

Other than just suggesting you have a bit more patience with them, if you know several polish guys as you mentioned, get one of them to do the talking?

I've ordered from them in the past and NEVER had a problem.

Considering everything that has happened, give them a break.

I've also ordered from them in the past, and we're talking HUGE orders here, and never had a problem.

Shipping may take a bit longer than you think, but they're stand up guys, and VERY good to deal with...

Only because a week after ordering they are now out of stock and my order doesn't appear to have been shipped and I can't contact them to find out the status / estimated dispatch time. I have spent the last few a weeks with people on ebay trying to mug me off and I will be damned if I'm going to let my money sit in someone else's paypal account unnecessarily once again, especially if they have a habit of not delivering.

This is the first time I have ordered from an independent caster but like I said above I don't mind and I am prepared to wait. I do expect a certain standard of service when I shop online though, not much, just to be kept upto date with order status/delays and to be given the chance to cancel the order if any part is not available (out of stock is not available)

Oh and to have my emails answered.

I think you should really just take a chill pill here dude and let it go for a few days. If you haven't noticed, you are kind of overreacting over this. MaxMini is a stand up company that is ultra easy to deal with and many people here have had nothing but pleasant transactions with them.

Oh and its "learned" English. If you are going to have the gall to insult someone over language, at least get it right yourself first highspeed.

I would imagine they are busy and havent updated your order status. Also take into account if you are in a different country 4-5 days is not a reasonable expectation. On top of that, it probably means 4-5 days after the order is processed and shipped, not when you go through checkout.

Normally I give 1.5 weeks in the states and 1 month outside before I even think about checking.

Also if they went out of stock AFTER you ordered then obviously your order was filled just fine. Sites dont update inventory themselves, and they arent going to ship and sell to people coming after you.

Chill out, I'm sure why some Polish people might not care about the mourning stuff, I can bet that the post office will be closed. They probably can't send the stuff until it opens after things get back on the way to being normal again.

Sucks for the president and all, but business is business, tragedies are not an automatic hall-pass for slacking. As long as they are not personal anyways... Even if they are in mourning they should still send an email informing customers of delays, especially considering they sell to international customers. Besides as has been said, polish people tend to have a stiff upper lip.

At least you can content yourself that they have quality product by all accounts

My OP just asked if people had found them reliable, I am chilled but next time I get asked for details I will keep them to myself don't worry. Hoping someone has learned English is not an insult to their own language.

You would think so but according to the email I have now received it wasn't. They have said more are on the way though, no time scale was given but at least they have now replied to me.

I've ordered from MaxMini before and had no problems, try giving them a call. It may well be out of their hands if government offices aren't running or something.
