I am re enering the Game after a long vacation and am stumped on this. I was wondering what be the purpose of having 2 wolf claws on a model vrs a bolt pistol/claw combo? Cause the wording in the codex that "A wolf claw is a lightning claw that allows the wielder to either re-roll to hit or to wounds rolls." [pg 60 SW codex.] So what be the purpose of 2 wolf claws the besides the extra attack, would it allow me to re-roll both with 2 claws?

thats why most models have some sort of discount on the second wolf claw, IE: Wolf Guard in Terminator armor buy one claw for 10 points and the other for 5 points.

Im lost here?? So for a model with a lighting claw and a bolt pistol and if they had a based A of 4 with that they get 5 (counting the pistol/claw combo)? Also the 2 claws it be the same 5 attacks?

Lightning Claws have always denied the bonus attack unless paired, even in 3rd...

They didn't in 4th ed, if i'm not mistaken...? You could have a BP and LC and claim an extra attack in 4th, please beat me down if i'm wrong.

You were wrong, Lightning claws, back to 3rd, have needed a pair to gain the extra attack.
The change in 4th is that powerfists (and variants) have joined the lightning claw in this requirement.
