Do I collect a Space Wolf Army or Eldar Army now or wait for the alleged this year release of the DE???

Probably Nurgle, Africa has the lock on that.

Dark Eldar are 'probably' one of the next two codices.

Hardly concrete. you could be waiting until december. You might not like the new DE if (IF) they arrive.

If there is a new DE Codex, the world and his brother will start DE armies and you'll be one more amongst a sea of spiky elfs.

I'd suggest you go for Eldar now.

Remember, it's just money. You'll make more tomorrow, right? Get an army now that you like and if (when) the DE are released, start from scratch all over again.

I love the feeling of putting brand new models together, or experimenting with something new on the table top. I would start a third army but right now i'm having too much fun painting a million tyranids.

Been out of the game for awhile, trying to find time to get back into it.

I hear ya dude. But I dunno if the wife would want me doing another army.

Unless I sold off one of my Warmachine off ofcourse.

You see the thing is that when I make armies they tend to be quite large.

Preaching to the choir

-Any terrain containing Sly Marbo is dangerous terrain.
-Sly Marbo once played an objective mission just to see what it was like to not meet every victory condition on his own.
-Sly Marbo bought a third edition rulebook just to play meat grinder as the attacker.
-Marbo doesn't need an Eldar farseer as an ally; his enemies are already doomed
-Sly Marbo was originally armed with a power weapon, but he dropped it while assaulting a space marine command squad just so his enemies could feel pain
-Sly Marbo still attacks the front armor value in assault, for pity's sake.

Well, if you have the money now, I say go for one of those armies. Dark Eldar are confirmed as being at the printer right now, but there's no precise time when we know they'll come out. It's supposed to be this year, but nobody knows when.

Eldar will be safe from an update for a little while, and have a new plastic Fire Prism allegedly coming out. Space Wolves are my favorite chapter of Space Marines, so you don't need my admittedly biased opinion on those badasses.

I'll end up going with Space Wolves in this case. I have no 40k army atm, so a small 1500 pt force might be in order.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

I got to go with SW. Cheaper than Eldar.
