I got a ticket from a real butt of a cop on the way to the store, my tag came up under my old car and my insurance did too, even though my registration and insurance are for my new car, Last two times this happened both cops looked it up and said ok, the Tag office told me both times they had the Issue fixed. This cop "didn't Have the time to do that." I told him I was barely able to feed my family as is, but he say well that sucks and slapped me with the tickets anyways, after making open my army box to make sure they weren't guns or drugs, then said I was too old to play with toys ah well.

Things went south even more as my camera took one pic and died :/. I'm no chump through so I put on my big boy pants and got ready to battle Some chaos Space marines of the Undivided type.

The Doom of souls was hungry, so very hungry and cold, always cold, It's had slowly lost contact with the hive mind and now it floated in the half nothingness, surrounded by the drained soul-shells of it's past prey Ghostly shapes, frozen in endless horror orbited around the nexus that was the Doom. On the Planet Girvonti, The Chaos lord Joltave, and his pet sorcerer, were attempting to open a gate to the warp, unfortunately for them something even more hellish than daemons waited on the other side.

Land raider lascannon sponsons
We rolled the draw fest and dawn of war. (UGH) my objecvie was a carnifex caraprace, and his was the foolish chaos lord.

Set up saw my hive tyrant and tervigon against his berserkers lasher and CSM. He won the roll to go first.

Chaos T1

Everything of his comes on defilers cover both of his corners cant see anything because of night fighting.

Ghost nids gants venomthrops and hive guard come in on my left claiming my Objective a trygon prime the Doom of souls and a regular Trygon back up the tyrant and tervigon. The tervigon releases 16 souls trapped within it's gullet, rolling double 5's (D'OH) The hive tyrant gets catalyst put on him. I then fail to run more than 4" for anything in my shooting phase.

The doom could feel the Brightly burning souls of the warp infused Chaos lord. If It could get to him, possess him, the breach could be rent open and an Army of the dead would sally forth to drain the souls of the living. It pushed itself toward the hated warmth of the living the forlorn souls quietly following suit.

Chaos turn 2. Land raider pivots Berserkers don't move, wary of ll the MCs but unwilling to fall back. The hive tyrant and tervigon are both wounded by battle-canon and Lascannon fire. 4 newly spawned gants are dispersed as well. The lash whip is able to curl around the incorporeal form of the hive tyrant and push him back 4"

Ghost nids turn 2 everything moves up, The last Trygon prime appears in a swirling mists and launches eerily silent lighting into the berzerkers, Khorne protected his children from harm. The Doom summoned what little power it had But the Chaos gods again intervened, daemon energies coursed through the doom but didn't harm it. The hive guard sought to instantly kill the Chaos sorcerer but slaanesh watched over him as well, all shots missed or failed to wound. The hive tyrant and it's Trygon buddies ran 2".

The Chaos gods watched this battle with rapt attention, plotting on ways to strip the souls unleashed on this small battlefield. The spirits were beset by the full power of Chaos, less than a match against the awesome dark powers.

Chaos turn 3. The sorcerer of slaanesh tries lash but gets wounded on a double 6 due to Shadows of the warp. More gants are killed and the hive tyrant is wounded again, although it takes all the battle cannon and lascannon shots. The berserkers fall back to deal with the trygon (Was my plan) they do two wounds to it in shooting with bolt pistols..then fail to wound int assault. the Trygon eats 2 of them. they pass no retreat.

Nids turn 3. Everything moves up, trygons break left, everything runs, again nothing greater than a 4" a stiff breeze must be blowing the wrong way. Hive guard fail to harm the leftmost defiler.

The ghost simply and silently advance on the Chaos war-band, simply uncaring or unaware of the withering fire they were taking.

Chaos turn 4
He makes his move! The hive tyrant is brought down to one wound. The CSM squad move up and flame my spawned unit of gants, they go to ground to survive the bolters. The terminators land next to the hive guard, and the possessed drive forward and pile out of the landraider to attack my gants guarding my Objective. The terminators wound a hive guard with bolters, the Possessed have fleet and dive into the gants. I end up with only 6 left. one possessed dies to dangerous terrain and one dies to a gant. More Berserkers have their souls taken by the Trygon, they fail to wound it

Ghost nids turn 4 My tyrant, tervigon, Doom of souls, and few remaining gants press his Objective. They are about 9" away. My trygons doubled back to save my gants and hive guard, roll crappy fleet and Move through cover, about 4" total. and fail a charge on the terminators and land raider by inches.
The venemthrope dives in to save the gants, they all die but he remains.
The trygon fighting the Berserkers finish them off and moves toward the sorcerer.

Soo close, the Doom of souls could feel it! A little ways more and the Chaos lord would be his, and this planet would feed his hunger forever!

Chaos turn 5 He sees my plan and move to counter-act it. The sorcerer moves to save the CSM as does the defilers, My trygons who doubled back are both wounded once and a hive guard is killed by terminator fire, the Hive tyrant also falls the CSM fry the last gants. The sorcerer gets ballsy and shots his combi melta into the Trygon that killed the berserker and fails to hit, he then charges in, fails to wound, and gets his soul sucked out for his troubles. The trygon uses this movement to get closer to the CSM. The venomthrope is popped like a birthday balloon, by the very pointy possessed

Nids turn 5. Action time! The doom moves up the the CSM followed by the Tervigon. Shooting sees the Hive guard immobilise the left defiler. one trygon assaults the land raider and immobilises it and rips of a sponson. the other trades two wounds with the Terminators. The Doom sucks two souls from the CSM and blasts them with it's attack, only 3 remain. The Trygon that killed the berserkers and the sorcerer finish them off in combat, the Tervigon rolls 2 for it's run. The Game is mine next TURN!!!

We roll a one and the game ends.......DRAW

"AOoooOOOooOO" The doom of souls wailed as the bright morning sunlight burned the mists from around it. TOO BRIGHT, Morning beams pierced it's translucent hide and scorched the shadowy void in it's core. In an instant the spectres were gone, The Chaos lord was free to move once more beating a hasty retreat with what was left of his warband.

Nid of the Night. The Trygon who killed a unit of berserkers a sorcerer and finished off the CSM. This is the second match he has done well, I should name him.

Damnations go to the hive guard who missed everything all game until the very end.

Chaos man of the match. The possessed. Land raider moves 12" they get out 2" they fleet 6" and assault 6". I set my Trygons up to eat them but they just zoomed right on by!

And whilst you're pointing and shouting at the boogeyman in the corner, you're missing the burglar coming in through the window.

Well, Duh! Because they had a giant Mining ship. If you had a giant mining ship you would drill holes in everything too, before you'd destory it with a black hole

sorry to hear about that... what suburb was it in? it sounds like a peachtree city level of doucheness but i've had more trouble with the union city ticket hungry PD (they're ALWAYS waiting near their two highway exits). you took it better than i would have; i'd have been complaining about it all night. consider yourself lucky that you didn't get pulled over with a bag of flock in the trunk. lol, that happened to me once and, despite it not looking all that similar to anything illegal in particular, i had to spend the next hour explaining/convincing the officer as to it's proper legal use.

The Ghost nids? Your army wouldnt happen to be the beautifully painted white and blue nids with white cotton on their bases would it? If so, then two thumbs up on the army!
