Is this great little company still with us?
I see no signs of life on their site and others asking as well around these parts. Are they still about?
I am a great fan of their work and want to know they are doing ok.

There was a rumor floating around my store they'd been C&D' when I brought the issue up, but I've heard nothing official. It'd be a shame if they have, because I was a big fan of them to and was considering picking up the Vrock soon .

They were bought out by someone and trying to get things back and running again.

Bought out by? I thought this was a husband and wife outfit running things from their garage? Is some guy going to come over to their house, set up a desk in the shed and issue memos to them about increasing production?
Seems weird.

They are owned or at least managed by husband and wife - to my understanding , but someone rather heavily invested into them further to have stakes into ultraforge.
They were severely outputting not enough to match the demand of the market. Thus they were bought out (or at least what I was told) by another miniature company from the States and invested some money to increase their production.
I know they still exist - only because I know my local gaming store can still purchase from them and they've been restocking that inventory.

It would definitely be a shame if another small miniature company went down. I hope they do well.

I haven't bought anything from them, but was planning on picking up a Vrock to either represent a Lord of Change, or just as an awesome model.

I'd also like to mention that thewarstore.com still has the Greater Plague Demon in Stock but as far as I can tell they are the last retailer to have this item available. UFM had to pull it due to pressure from GW and they will not be selling it again.

I desperately hoped they'd make (a) a 2 headed version or (b) a "second head" expansion. Would make it perfect fot the Daemons character (Fateweaver, i believe?).

They have not been bought out or taken over by another company.
They have someone who is handling distribution for them, and helping deal with the resin production. This lets the original husband and wife sculpting team spend more time doing what they love, which is making models. A lot of small companies go through a transition like this. At some point the creative team realizes they are spending way too much time being a shipping department and an accouting department.
I haven't had a problem keeping their product in stock, so it looks like production is staying good.

Sweet, good to know they're still doing well and even expanding production! Probably just a drop off in communication from being busy with the transition.
