I apologize if someone has already posted this.

I've been using American Accents Textured Finish spray paint on my bases for awhile because I'm too lazy to paint them, but when I painted this Salamanders army I decided to use it to make mud splatters on my vehicles. It came out pretty cool so here's some photos of what it looks like on foamboard. Some photos are with a base of tan spray.

I included my finger for size comparison.

And with an primer coat of brown underneath:

In progress Vulkan, but photo for sake of the base:

There are a bunch of colors available at craft stores like Michael's or AC Moore.

I think I'll try this on the underside of my White Scars bikes. Have you tried it on anything smaller than a tank? And do you think it would work alright on bikes?

It would definitely work on bikes. Mud would look awesome against the white of the WS. Test it out on something else first though. And you might want to tape off the tires, then spray, then take off the tape so that it looks like the wheels have spun off the mud a bit. I didn't glue on the treads until after I sprayed the splatter on my vehicles for that effect.

Good to see someone else is using textured sprays. I like using the stone finishes for urban buildings, saves punds of textured spackle.

I would imagine a local DIY or walmart equilvenent would sell something simmilar.

If they sell krylon in AU, odds are they sell this product.
