I have 2 solutions....
1. not post any updates for a while- this will, unfortunately, make people less interested as you haven't updated for a while. This happened to someone elses bolog and most people got angry at him tough, but I'm sure this wont happen to you.
2. create a *NEW* Mantis warrior blog and not tell anyone so they have to find it themselves.
Personally though, I wouldn't worry about it.

i wouldnt use acetone, well it is metal you dont really have to worry about it... but if its plastic it will bite through and ruin the details...
you could try stripping it entirely by dipping it in pure dettol for 12-24 hours, then giving it a gentle scrub with a tooth brush and it will even strip the primer... then you can redo the paintjob and unleash all your new awesome skills on him...
the model is amazing! i really think there should be more jump pack libbies
