This is ridiculous, you allow people to argue over the most random stuff in here, but I am not allowed to lay out an argument to why multiple explosions can happen? I have been answered with nothing but house rulings and opinions, there has been no flaming. Just good clean discussion.
And here is the problem with everyone's argument:
Gwar! wrote:And that is where people disagree. Even if you roll 30 "Explodes", all you get is a rule saying "Models within D6" get hit". You do not have a rule saying "Models within D6" get hit for each and every Explodes result".
The models within
D6" taking damage is a result of you rolling a 6, not of the vehicle exploding.
If you get 30 weapon destroyed results, you get to destroy 30 weapons. Why would you not get the full result of rolling a 6 every time you roll it?
Again, it can be summed up without all the fluff into:
Explodes:
Vehicle is destroyed.
Replace with a crater
Models within
D6" take str3 hits
That is the entire resolution of rolling a 6.
You are trying to claim it is:
Explodes:
Vehicle is destroyed.
Replace with a crater
Completely separate from the damage result
If a vehicle explodes models with
D6" take
str 3 hits
This is not right. There is not a separate section for this. Heck if somehow a vehicle could explode without rolling on the damage table it wouldn't do those hits unless specified.
Again, my argument is that a tank exploding has no in game effect. Besides removing the tank.
