The world is quiet here.

I am going to release a new box set of 28mm plastic miniatures.

This box set will contain four sprues of miniatures, with five miniatures per sprue. Each sprue will contain options to configure the models for hand weapon/shield, great weapon, and missile fire (bows, in one case; slings and javelins, in the other). The models are comparable in size to GW models (28mm heroic scale), fit nicely onto a 20mm base, and are high quality extruded plastic.

I am giving you a choice in the type of models I am designing: on the one hand, I can design figures that resemble British/Gallic Celts, both in tunics and bare-chested, with optional chainmail armor. On the other hand, I can design figures that resemble Samurai, with both masked and unmasked faces, both sword and no-daichi (pole arm) options.

These are the only two options available, for purposes of this poll.

Which box would you rather purchase? Which box gives you the most mileage in terms of use with Warhammer armies? Which box allows you to better convert an army that you would like to have?

This is not a poll in a vacuum. It's actual market research with real-life application. That's all I'll say about that.

Euro-barbarians seem to be ably covered in plastics IMHO (as well as metals), but I know of no plastic Samurai being done at the mo'.

The Asientals would make for a smashing alternative-look Empire Army for WHFB, as well as filling out the WAB needs.

What XYZ said - Celts have already been released by Wargames Factory and Warlord Games. Ancient Germans too....

I could see people eating up a Samurai box - gets the imagination of a lot of people.

The samurais seems most popular. I would like to buy a box, they got my vote. How much would they cost?

Somewhere in the $18-20 range.

Why the interest in more Celts? Do you not like the current kits? Do you think they should be done in a different way? Most Celts are done as shirtless hairy men - there could be room for a mailed kit. Or would you re-in vision the Celt in a different way as in the below?

Im not familiar with Celts other then im guessing they are usually half naked with viking helm + axe + body tatoo? ( im probably wrong )

but i would go with Samurai if only on base on the amount of variety to units they can come up with.

that is a much later envisaging of romano-celts and not the real McCoy!

And I guess it all depends what you mean by Celt as they were widely distributed across Europe and cover a period of a few hundred years

Fantasy celts might be a very interesting set in the mystical realms of Anwnn.

Quite like the idea of Samuri also - haven't voted because both sound cool to me.

I said Samurai because there are no plastic Samurai miniatures out there, and its a niche. plus, AoA players would love you.

Eeeeh, wargaming weren't like this back in my day!

Since their are already many Celt figures available, I would probably go for Samurai.
