What is the most expensive unit in all of 40K?

I'm curious to see what you think is the most expensive.

what do you mean most expensive unit? do you mean like 1 terminator or just 1 unit of terminators or any group which can become one unit of terminators in a landraider with 2 special characters with them?

30 jump pack Death Company marines all with thunderhammers, 6 infernus/plama pistols and Lemartes in the group...

DC 30x20 =600
Jump packs 30x15=450
thunderhammers 30x30=900
infernus/plasma 6x15=90
lemartes 150

grand total of 2190 points, for a single troop choice.

now imagine you took Astorath and you can field 6 groups of them.... ugh

WOW!!! thats Expensive.

For a single model it is probably a Hive Tyrant - can be over 400 points with everything on there.....

Cant think of anything more expensive than the DC unit though!

10 Nob bikers with stikkbombs, PKs, combirokkits, armor, a painboy with orderly, cybork, bosspoles, waaagh banners, and ammo runts is... 1067

Not as impressive, but it's sizable.

Total Cost: 1190 for one unit with a dedi-transport that it can't actually get into. Still doesn't beat the DC super-unit, but that's still up there (with some very arbitrary upgrades, I might add, since the MOTW doesn't give them more TH attacks, and very rarely would they use the meltabombs)

No, it doesn't... again, being part of a single force organization slot choice and being a single unit are not the same thing.
