I know fabius is BS but paired with a killing machine like kharn he is deadly. I have tried this list on vassal and it seemed very effective, being way cheaper than cult marines and still being fearless while sometimes wounding trygons on 4's rocks!
PS having all fearless troops also rocks. might take a squad of oblits out and add more deamons, they are really nice

First off, read the sticky post about how to properly post a list without displaying all the point costs. It is against Dakka rules because GW wants you to buy the codex.

The moral of the story is dont copy stuff from army builder. It makes it a massive pain in the arse to read and so you'll get less response. The people that will comment have to codex and so will know all of the standard wargear the models come with anyway. Just list the extra stuff that you are adding/changing. You are allowed to post total costs for individual units, but not any more specific than that.
If you're using enhanced CSM squads you'll want to make them good. Theyre only any good in combat so you'll want to give them an IoK or an IoS. A champion with a powerfists (with IoK) or a powerweapon (IoS) is also going to be useful. Theres no point giving them an IoCG since they are fearless anyway. Also meltas are your friends. They should eat most stuff in comat but cant deal with tanks by themselves. Meltas fix this.
To pay for all of this drop some lesser demons. Honestly they arent any good. You're better off getting more oblits and paying for upgrades on your dudes.

I only give them the IOCG for a cheap way to give every squad an icon of sorts. I dont know what your smoking ive used lesser deamons for years now andd i find them to be the great underdog of the codex, they are scoring, they DS and can assault right out of the turn they arrive! sure you might now assault a banshee squad with them but hacing them dropped on or near objectives rock, splitting them into 4 squads of 5 and i can focus my enchanced on rushing up. I dislike other icons for fluffy reasons i play word bearers CSM and well deamons are a must too :p, my fabius is a chaos apoth and plague amrines are the "perfected enhanced", putting the oblits into 3 of 2 i think works well foor a dive and conquer kind of setting too. all and all i can understand how a conservative view of the CSM codex may find this a terrible list but as i said before this is a variation of a playtested from a list ive played before and well it whomped. its only bad against ultra omg got to win at all cost players.

I agree with Original Poster, the Icon of Chaos Glory is incredibably useful.
Because:
Remember Chaos Space Marines ARE NOT fearless. The favored marines (zerks, plague, noise) all are fearless. Regular Chaos Space marines are not.
Chaos Space marines are monsters of "assault". Because they carry all the wargear (Boltgun AND bolt pistol + CC weapon). So effectively you can shoot things with a Bolter, and still get extra attacks in CC. Also they are monsters of "assault" because they can get two meltaguns per squad, and it only replaces your boltgun (once again you still get extra CC attacks)
Final say CSM = great
csm x 10, IoCG, Melta, Melta, rhino for 215 is the cheapest way to make your unit beastly. Always of course you'll have powerfists in your army, no doubt. But you'll have to decide which groups are specific in what division on where to put them, giving ALL your csm squads power fists is just costing way too much.
You should drop all rhino upgrades, just keep them dirt cheap, and use the firing hatch to get one gun from your squads shooting, but thats it. Keep the rhino's absolutely cheap as possible.
I feel as though some things are a little out of place (Kharne, terminators, plague marines) Considering your army looks like its based around Fabius, and you like using the enhanced warriors buff (which is costly).
Unless you were willing to drop something it looks like your list is pretty set in stone. I personally don't like the enhanced warriors just because Csm rule for the fact of how easy it is to field massive amounts of them, the wargear is just an added cherry.
So what would you be willing to drop or move around? You've seen it in action,we have not. I think Kharne is very out of place, but he's my favorite model
Good luck

This army centered on my word bearers apothecary yes. Kharn is anazing but I can't think of any other suitable HQ to roll with enhanced warriors, do you? Remember the iocg in this list isn't used for the rerolls because EW are fearless, which is one ofthe reasos I field then. I find that for those extra 3 PTA fearless S5 or 6 is definatley worth it. Even on a 6 lOsing 1 at each of my turns does not debilitated. I cab shred the rhino upgrades and kharn maybe even tho terms but those are my antitank, ideas? I need a good replacementt for kharn, fabius has decent stats but without an invulnerable he suffers, buy him for EW.

ohhh they're all fearless from the rule of enhanced warriors. Nice, well this looks like a reason enough army to field Lucius the Eternal. His armor is kind of nice, and he's a lot more stable than Kharne, with that attack reducer whip.
But he's equally as awkward I suppose. Automatically Appended Next Post: just out of curiosity, about how many soldiers do you lose a game to your own special rules? Like Kharne's attacking teamates, bad mutations, ect. I'm just wondering because I think aside from dreadnoughts your fielding every "risky" unit / group available to Chaos lol.

I dont have the lucious model but i dont know.
Unpredictable? slightly but not all unstable. I play IG and tyranids often so loosing one marine each turn on a 6 but at S6 they ususally last with about 5 or 4 left if the enemy does not get them. On a 1 all 10 marines take a 3+ thats not too bad and the majority of the time its just S5 and fearless. Kharn is also a killing machine with or without backup. Yes it is preffered that he joins a squad with an invul (like possessed) so they can at least save against his attacks on them; but he hits on 2+ so theres only a 1/6 chance he attacks his allies. on the charge being A7 and S6, just cant beat.

Kharn is worth it. If you don't want him splattering your own guys, split him off from his unit in the movement phase and have the unit charge one thing and Kharn take on another. Kharn charges with SEVEN S6 attacks. Totally brutal. No reason not to take him. If you really want to swap him out for something with good synergy, Typhus is a nasty character with good psychic powers and a force weapon. As long as you can avoid powerfists, his 4 wounds and FnP will keep him up for a long time, and Nurgle's Rot is good against low armor save hordes. Typhus would fit well in your list since you seem to have a fair number of Nurgle units, but point for point Kharn is probably superior.

kharn is superior and you have a great icon btw! lovecraft FTW! anyways i only have 7 plague marine, which are the PM metal models painted word bearee rs and nurgle signs obscured, the army is themed around the dark apothecary's experemends to turn the chapter (undivided) into a versitile force that can have the strengths of the cult marines without favoring one god over another thru genetic altering. typhus is neat but he is expensive and with that T4 for instant death he really suffers. maybe a lord or sorcerer would be better? even a DP?

1. Huge Lovecraft fan, glad you noticed
2. Typhus getting splattered by power fists/meltas really sucks, but where he shines is against hordes, where 2+ armor and FnP will keep him alive while he uses Nurgle's Rot to kill scores of them
3.It all comes down to resilience vs. killing power. For straight-up offensive power, Kharn is better than a DP. However, DP's have Eternal Warrior, and with MoN you can bump them up to T6. I'd take:
DP with wings, Mark of Nurgle, and Warptime.
This gives you a fast, T6 assault monster that's going to give you a good balance between being tough to kill and eating space marines for breakfast.

7 S5 attacks on the charge, 6 normally and any unsaved wounds cause instant death. he is pretty decent in close combat IMHO but his lack of invul kills him fast. besides look above its what he Automatically Appended Next Post: does for my army that is why i use him, EW FTW

Well this entire post seemed to revolve around Kharne, but since you brought it up, A Daemon Prince is much much stronger.
For 155 points, you can get a Daemon Prince, wings + Warptime, that's a very chaos undivided unit. Extremely good stats. Eternal Warrior, and it can jump infantry it's way into tank busting situations. It's just one hell of a four wound model for the price, AND it doesn't worry about instant death.
