I’m not sure if this has already been asked, but in line with blood Angles, can a ‘tank’ that arrives via deep strike tank shock? Obviously it would have to be declared before deep striking, but I’m not sure if there is any ruling that is preventing it.

Didn’t the INAT or GW make the ruling that you can take shock while coming on from reserves (sue do straddling the board edge)? So would set a precedence of abnormal model placement.

Deepstrike replaces your normal movement, meaning you are not "instead of making a normal move..." in order to do a tank shock.

No, you cannot.
Tank shocks require you to replace your normal move. Since you have already done that with the Deep Strike, you cannot now Tank Shock.

Though knowing GW they probably will FAQ it to allow BA Land Raiders to do it, just to sell more of them.

Are we talking about using the actual deep strike to tank shock?

Heh. Ignoring that this would cause a mishap, that's more like a tank-bomb than a tank-shock.

How could they even justify that? Theres no method to determine the strength of the hit, since there was no starting point and therefor no numerical movement value to translate into strength, and if the victim vehicle doesn't explode, now you have a tank that stops at the poitn of impact... on top of another model.
