In my endless quest to find cheap and good plastics that can be used for Warhammer I just found this.

http://www.grippingbeast.com/webpage.php?PageID=88

A box of 44 plastic vikings from Gripping Beast. Look cool and could be used as chaos marauders.

3500 pts Black Legion
3500 pts Iron Warriors
2500 pts World Eaters
1950 pts Emperor's Children
333 pts Daemonhunters

Hmm, vikings out the wazoo! No mention of the scale on the GB page, does anyone know? There was another post just...a few weeks ago about some newly released viking plastics. Now if I can only remember the name of the company...
Ah, here's the thread:

These guys have Vikings and Saxons which may work as well:

I have some of the Vikings (as yet unassembled) and they look very nice.

How many unhelmeted heads do you get on a sprue please?

I think a sprue or two of these could be great for my planned kitbashed Van Saar gangers, otherwise it'd have to be space wolves heads.

If you look at the large box-art picture, it says 28mm.

Well, I can see the figures made by Wargames Factory are 28mm...However, I don't see the scale listed for those from Gripping Beast.

Fantastic paint jobs on the sample minis too. I'd like to see a picture of the sprues and just how multipose they are.

mmmhmm and they use a lot of Steve Saleh for sculpting... The guy is understatably amazing. Many find him out pacing the perrys even.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Thought people were talking about these Vikings.

--The whole concept of government granted and government regulated 'permits' and the accompanying government mandate for government approved firearms 'training' prior to being blessed by government with the privilege to carry arms in a government approved and regulated manner, flies directly in the face of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

“The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government.”

I'm still way more interested in historical vikings than I will ever be in those guys or that sport. The partial pic of the cheerleader shows some serious abs though...
