Recently moved to Fort Gordon and wondering if there was any groups that played on post, preferably on the weekends since that is when I have the most time. I have armies for both 40k and fantasy.

I left Gordon for Stewart about three years ago. As I was leaving Augusta was jsut starting to develop a gaming community. The local HMGS Chapter runs the Siege of Augusta convention every year (usually late January).

Post this on TMP http://theminiaturespage.com/ and I'm sure Mike Baker or one of the other locals will get in touch with you. They do not play GW stuff exclusively but are a good group of guys.

Good luck.

Well, your best bet is the Augusta Book Exchange. It's about 5-10 minutes from post on Gordon Highway. You can check their website at comics-n-games.com. We usually play on Monday nights; however, some people, including myself play on Sundays as well. We'll be there tomorrow doing 'Ard Boyz practice so 2500 points of 40k. Feel free to PM me for anoy other info.

It is called Galactic Comics & Games, Statesboro GA 30458

I hope to see you there. I am deployed right now so when I get back I will be up there.
They also have a forum which alot of 40K stuff gets talked about and when tournaments are played.

The book exchange is where I normally go. I too recently moved to Ft Gordon, though thanks to the military movers, I had a 2500 point IG dropped down to bout ~500-600 points, while in battlefoam. Anyways, hope to see you up there.
