I go to school at the University of West Georgia, here in Carrollton, Georgia. University aside (which is a great place), there aren't any hobby stores or FLGS to be found around these parts, and I haven't met anybody on campus who is into 40k.

I've googled around for potential places around here but there are none to be found. So I ask, does anybody live in Carrollton, GA (or perhaps Douglasville, GA, which is just up the highway and is a lot bigger) and play 40k?

During the summer I live in Norcross, GA, just outside of Atlanta, so I'll probably have more luck there. Anybody in Norcross?

and yes, this is my first post, but I've been reading dakkadakka.com for quite a while. I love this community, so I decided to sign up, finally.

our game store is located in Marietta, GA, so halfway between Carrollton and Norcross.

we're at 2145 Roswell Rd, Marietta, GA, 30062. Anytime you want to make the trek up, come visit us, we play 40k mainly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and we open until 11pm so you can always get a game, you can visit our own forums located in my sig to say hello and set up games as well

there is tower in lawrenceville which is pretty cool.
and there is phoenix in buford. it's pretty cool too.

I actually bought my IG army from The Tower in Lawrenceville. Excellent place, I might add. I'll probably end up going there over the summer since they seem like good folks all around.

Hopefully I can find some people to play with while I'm at university, though. :[

You can give them a shot. I live on the opposite side of town, so can't say anything about them. I just happen to come across this post since I'm going to be in Carrolton a few days for work and figured I'd visit a local shop.

I'm just finding out myself that HobbyHangout is apparently going out of business. That's what their website said, at least. Found that out the hard way yesterday when I dropped by their place and it was a ghost town. I'm just starting in WH40k. Used to play Battletech often.

If you ever take a trip to the southern half of Ga, there a store call Wizzard Keeps in Valdosta Ga.

My husband and I are looking for a group to play with not just 40k but tabletop and ccgs
