Plz tell me I am going crazy or blind; but where did my raptors ability to use the 'Hit and Run' special rule go?

Hopefully my chaos codex is just misprinted, its bad enuf it got neutered so badly but did they have to smash up my favorite unit too?

Ha HA HA HA HA AH AHA HA HA.

Yes the unit that invented Hit and RUN lost it in the 4th edition codex. I lost my whole army list so don't feel bad. I remember the pain of the codex when it broke my heart, stay strong.

And whilst you're pointing and shouting at the boogeyman in the corner, you're missing the burglar coming in through the window.

Well, Duh! Because they had a giant Mining ship. If you had a giant mining ship you would drill holes in everything too, before you'd destory it with a black hole

Yeah it made me sad panda, I quit back when 4th ed was previewed and they messed with my favorite tactic of shooting a diff unit than I assault. Worse yet they killed all the fun of chaos legions like the night lords I had been hordeing all this time...

Yeah, it's not like the army that Invented True Grit or Counter attack or Acute Senses had it stolen by anyone...

Oh Wait...

Army.

Space Wolves did.

Add to that Venerable Dreadnoughts! (and in the fluff the Predator Annihilator).

Atleast space puppies didn't receive a banhammer back into being a footnote in lore... I guess its cause GW can still make a healthy profit catering to furries who want to play 40k too. Hahahaha

Space wolves invented acute senses? Yet every Space Marine in 1st Ed had an acute senses special due to their power armour...

I also thought Truegrit was invented for Grey knights back in 2nd Ed?

Can't remember counter attack and at least the SWs still have CA and AS and are by far and away the most effective armylist in the game so you can hardly complain...

Nah Power Armour gave you auto-senses not acute senses (protected against blind and flare effects IIRC).

It was acute senses it had other effects (I think rerolls for night fighting missions and all sorts of wierd effects because 1st Ed was practically a roleplay game, I think spotting disatnce in area terrain was also efffected I can't remember all the rules).

It will be a few years but I have a feeling the Chaos codex will be insanely sick when it is redone.

Has there ever been a response to a lackluster codex like the one Gav brought upon himself through his Mechanical Hamster Blog? The smarted thing he ever did was write that thing. GW now has years of customer marketing information. They know EXACTLY what we want and why. Trust me when I say the next reincarnation of Chaos will be incredible. There is no guess work involved on Gw's part.

I have a love /hate relationship with anything green.

It's GW. They will mess it up, simply because Good Ideas are to them what Chocolate is to Dogs.

Grey Knights in 2nd edition didn't have True Grit. They had a Nemesis Force Weapon with a built-in storm bolter.
