he can't asslt out of deep strike so try to make him take some shots and fallback into cover if you can, all his guys lack grenades, so you'll at least get to go first.

I only trade in US thanks.

well for one. Stay the hell away from him and just blast him to hell

Don't use high AP weapons on his Letters as there best and only is a 5+

use AP 3 or better on the Crushers to make THEM take a 5+ invun as well

and the Soulgrinder either kill, Destroy their Mawcannon or Immobilze.

If you are playing a mechanized army then deploy all your units on the table and keep them together. When his 1st wave arrives move the maximum distance away from them and pop smoke if the walkers are in range with their mini railgun. Keep your distance as mobility and shooting will be your two advantages. You can't beat Khorne daemons in assault. If your opponent spreads out his army focus on killing one unit at a time. Shooting the Crushers is not all that effective though honestly.

If you have a lash prince and some Oblits that would be very helpful... Clump the lesser daemons and then soak them with plasma blasts.

Remember that you are outclassed in close combat.

As a daemon player, CSM seems to be one of my hardest matches. Specifically lash and bezerkers. If bezerkers charge any of my units (even blood crushers) in sufficient numbers, bye bye daemons (usually takes 2 units of bezerkers to kill the crushers).

If it's not clear from others' responses, it would help a great deal if you gave a description of your own army. Details are useful. Also, I don't see any HQ units in the other army's description; is he using a herald of khorne in a unit of bloodletters, or is there something more to it?

Without details on your own army, I can pretty much only echo what Brazila said: remember that he can't assault immediately after deepstriking and doesn't have grenades. (Also, remember to thoroughly read the deepstrike section of the BRB. It's not too long of a section, and you want to make sure you're familiar with exactly what he can and can't do - and, if he mishaps in a way that gives you the option to place his unit, what you can do.)

agaisnt deamons tactical squads would work much better than you would think. agaisnt the standard deamons you need to realize that the invul on most is till 5++ so lets say 10 bolter wounds would be nasty in a group of bloodletters. if its against nurgle you will want low AP and void that FNP save. Watch out for MC's and i would use a warptime MON, winged prince on them, maybe even a pair since the CSM DP's are much more effective IMHO

One dreadnought (assuming you can get it to charge into HtH) can bog a unit of bloodcrushers indefinitely. It doesn't kill many of them, but they either can't hurt it, or have a hard time hurting it if they have the rending upgrade.

If your army is mobile, you can also start all your units in reserve. That lets you see where he's deepstriking before you enter the board. Things that are too far from your table edge to assault, you can step onto the board and take a shot at them. Or you can lash vulnerable things into assault range and take them out before they get a chance to act.

Also for the bloodcrushers, remember that even if they are big and powerful they only move like infantry and have no ranged attacks, pick them off with low AP and high strength weapons.

It's a very tricky fight.

Regular bolt guns rapid firing are a good tool for killing bloodletters.

Defilers and Dreadnaughts will lock bloodletters and blood crushers in a CC fight that they have no chance of winning. It's really the only way to deal with blood crushers as small arms fire is wasted on them when it could rack up a large number of bloodletter kills, and heavy weapons fire is more effective against soul grinders. The problem is if he has a bloodthirster it will eat any walker it gets into combat with.

If it's just heralds, bloodletters, blood crushers, and soul grinders the trick would be to destroy his soul grinders with heavy weapons or melta fire, and tie up his melee units with walkers.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.
