I got a quick one about CSM dreads and their fire frenzy rule.

If i have a dread with a ML, standing next to another friendly dread, and it rolls fire frenzy, do i have to use a krak missile when i shoot the friendly dread? or do can i choose to use frag (Which obviously cant hurt the other dread and is what you would want)? or do i roll for it?

It fires all of it's weapons at the target twice. It has to fire the Missile Launcher. It doesn't specify which ammo you use it simply says to fire twice at it. Feel free to use frag missiles.

Edit: this is because in the weapon profile it says you may choose to fire frag or krak. Therefore when firing the weapon you check the profile, profile says to choose, and choosy moms choose frag (or Jiff, whichever)

"I drive a big car, cuz I'm a big star. I'll make a big rock-and-roll hit." "I am a big car, and I'm a strip bar. Some call it fake, I call it good-as-it-gets."

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

Yes, you can choose to fire the Frag. Just hope you aren't aiming at the back Armour!

Keep in mind that Frag missles scatter in 5th ed. I know it's not too much of a threat for CMS's but it's enough to notice. I guess what I'm saying is that this loophole is not a work around so that you can keep your Dreads close to support units, they should always be up close to the enemy.

Well if he's next to the other dread surely he won't be firing at that dread as he's not in LoS (unless you walk your dreads up sideways pointing at each other which seems a bit foolish). Remember you don't auto have 360 degree LoS anymore. 5th Ed has effectively made the fire frenzy an always positive result unless you are dumb enough to put your guys directly infront of your dread.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com

Let's not start that one up again. The fire arc of a frenzied dread shall remain up to players to determine until GW get around to FAQ'ing it.
