Hi all! I'm making a Khorne army based off the space wolf codex. I've been doing alright with the fluff/modelling so far, but Wolf scouts I'm finding a bit tricky.

Fluffwise, I've got this image in my head of a stealthy group of khorne warriors who excel at ambushing their prey, buuuut I obviously can't use Power armour bodies, since scouts don't wear it. Which doesn't help for modeling them either. I was looking for some ideas on what i could use to make these guys. Any help would be much appreciated

Hmmm, well i suppose you could use cultists, khorne demonettes (the gameplay of them in DOW2 talking there) or you could just convert up some scouts which have turned corrupt (i mean SM's can, why not scouts)

You could model up some berserkers with out helmets or armored arms. Use something like orc arms to still show the musculature and still be humanoid (similar to how Kharne is missing his left arm's armor). This way you can still keep the body and leg armor while making the model look a bit more like the scout model. Also even not using the backpack to give it a bit more of a stealth feel

Alternatively you can take IG models or the actual SM scout model and convert them. Also using possessed models could work. There demons who knows what powers they have.

I think as here Murray and Fallenboure said you should convert the SM scouts. Just make their skin like grayish so they look like they are corrupted maybe some scars or chaos symbols (like eight pointed circle around their eyes or Khorn symbol) and then like paint them into a Khorne color scheme and use some green stuff to maybe do like the blood or skulls (I think you can buy skulls but I am not sure) and on their cape you can paint like some symbols as well or some writing like "Blood for the blood god" or that sort of stuff and finally the sniper rifles I would personally do from a green stuff that they are covered in blood and the drops of blood are dropping down (green stuff time ) or put some Khorne symbols on it. Feral servitors would be nice. Or, if you can get the old Wulfen Guard models. They are heavily mutated and has much of their armour torn. Sold in packs of 5, if you find someone who still has them.

Perhaps try mixing WHFB Chaos Maruader torsoes with CSM legs.

Catachan arms and legs, Chaos marine upper torsos (for the 4+ arrmour look) but without backpacks, SW heads?

Just using normal scouts would be even easier, of course, but won't look especially Khornish.

Khorne Cultists of some kind was my original idea, or some kind of mercenary type of cultists but... I'm not sure what a khorne demonette is

Those are some nice ideas. I didn't know about the old Wulfen Guard, so many thanks for pointing out those awesome fella's. Doubt I'll be able to find someone with them though...

I know which is why I'm leaning alot more towards "cultist" or "renegade scouts" than "bezerkerz with stealthz!"
