Hi guys & gals,

I'm new to Dakka Dakka, but then I only stared playing 40K about 7 weeks ago.

I'm not new to gaming though, I've been playing RPGs for over 20 years; mainly Star Wars but with plenty of other games played too including Doctor Who, WFRP, Paranoia, D&D, Shadowrun, Call of Cthulhu, Dark Heresy & Savage Worlds. I am a collector of Star Wars minis, but when that got cancelled I decided to join my mates playing Warhammer 40K.

I decided to play Orks because they looked interesting and fun. I love their ramshackle tech and I'm glad I chose them as they seem the easiest to get away with using conversions. My Waaagh! is slowing growing although I did jump in at the deep end; I bought Assault on Black Reach, the Megaforce and a few other units (Kans, Battlewagon, Weirdboy) and joined a mini league at the local games club. Just six of us in that league and I came joint 4th, not bad for first time out.

I've already had a look around, the gallery is fantastic! I'm only just learning this hobby and find the quality of the painting on here very good. Hope to see you around.
