This list is going to be used in a 5000pt 4 player bash, I am with Eldar against Tau and Renegade Guard.

It is objectives, I was aiming to deepstrike everything that I can, any infantry (except Death Company) can capture objectives. Guard have a Shadowsword.

I want to know whether this list will work. Plus if I would be outnunbered in a battle of this size.

Drop the vanguard veterans and use Sanguinary guard instead. They're cheaper, all have glaives, or Power fists. And they're now troop choice because of Dante, it's just a simple smart fix. It looks like you want a B.A. Jump infantry squad anyways. Give them all death masks to make it the exact same price. Really nice!

I would also drop that honour guard for a sanguinary unit just because it does almost the exact same thing as that unit, for cheaper. And makes dante's unit count as a scoring unit. You can give power fists to whoever you want in the unit to maintain that abililty.

Death Company Squad: I really think you're paying way way too much for Lemartes, just get a regular chaplain, with regular Death Company and try to get them in a rhino with all the DC you can afford. That tank will just hide behind your land raider, or maybe even go in it if you wanted?

It doesn't look like you would be outnumbered at all, you're fielding almost entirely troop based things. Just drop some of the ridiculously priced units for cheaper ones that do the exact same thing (drop lemartes, the jump packing special units, ect)

i agree with koski

replace the honorguard with sanguinary guard
and the death company in a rhino is better than jp because blackrage isnt counting for them when they are in the rhino so you can choose where to act with them.

replace the vanguard veteran i dont know they are very strong because they can assault if the deepstrike that so important they wont get shot after they deployed

and replace the tacsquad with an assult and you can take a special more

I like the vanguard because they can deepstrike and assualt, but I never really thought a Sangiunary Guard. I thought the Honour Guard were too expensive and want a severe rethink. Although I love Lemartes and am afraid I can't lose him. I was thinking of puttong Astorath in but that would limit my options too much I fear.

Vanguard are useless in a BA army IMHO. They are to damn expensive an do not off mush for their points.
