I saw the same thing in a WD a few months back. I think there was a bat rep with them. Not sure if they are the same pieces of terrain pictured again in the new WD.

I haven't seen the one in the new WD but the ruined one you just posted looks like just skillfully carved ploystyrene.

I second the polystyrene. I can't see the mold lines like you could on some of the space marine statue pictures.

What's worrying is that this is the first time ever I have been more technically literate than anyone. T'is a sign of the end times fo'sure.
As to the issue at hand....hmm.. not sure. It would be an odd choice given what we know is coming out, and the rest of their terrain is Empirecentric

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Actually you can see a mold line in the close-up picture that can be found at Warseer. I'll just save the effort and quote myself from the Warseer thread:
jullevi wrote:An interesting find. These are obviously not existing 3-ups of any plastic kits, so they must have been built by someone (most likely Dave Andrews). What is more interesting is that they seem to be made of two halves. On the rightmost statue, you can see the seam between front and rear halves on the right shoulder, where cloaks crevices do not match up perfectly.
Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that we will be seeing a plastic Dwarf Statue in the near future. The only thing that is sure is that someone at studio has made a Dwarf statue and taken copies of it, so a master model does exist and it looks like one that could be turned into plastic if GW so decided. What you see in a picture is 99% likely a resin copy of the master model.
However, Hastings may or may not have given subtle hint or two regarding Fantasy terrain releases in the future.

After all how long did they hide the SM statues in plain sight.
