40k Event in the history of Japan.
May 2nd and 3rd get ready for the Largest
40K War Japan has ever known.
Please post this on as many disscussion boards and the like as you can.
You ask for an event now you have it.
In Golden Week we intend to run a Warhammer 40,000 campaign event.
ゴールデンウィークに、ウォーハンマー４０，０００キャンペーンイベントを行います。
The rules for the event will be as follows.
ルールは、下記の通りです。
5th edition Warhammer 40,000 rules.
最新版ウォーハンマー４０，０００のルールで行います。
Official Codexes and Forge World will be allowed.
ウォーハンマーのコデックスとフォージワールドで行います。
No Super Heavies, Flyers or Gargantuan Creatures.
スーパーヘヴィー、フライヤーズ、ガーガンチュアンクリーチュアーズは使用出来ません。
Everyone must have a printed copy of their own codex (whether a real book or a Japanese PDF).
各自、コデックスのコピーを持参してください。（本でも日本語版PDFでもどちらでも構いません。）
Everyone must bring their own dice, tape measure (we'll be using inches not
cm) and templates.
サイコロ、テープメジャー、テンプレーツ（型板）は、各自でご用意下さい。（ゲームでは、センチメートルではなく、インチを適用します）
Please bring fun armies to play with/against this is NOT a tournament.
今回は、トーナメントではない為、一緒に楽しめるアーミーを持参して下さい。
All armies should be painted to a minimum of three colours.
持参するアーミーは、全て3色以上にペイントして頂けるようお願いします。
There will be a painting competition with a prize of 10,000 yen for the best painted army and 7500 yen for the best painted single miniature.
ペイントコンテストも行います。
ベストアーミー賞の方には￥10,000を、またシングルモデル賞の方には、￥7,500を差し上げます。
All scenery will be provided so there is no need to bring your own.
情景モデルは、こちらでご用意しますので、各自でご用意する必要はございません。
To cover the costs of hiring the room and prizes there will be a charge of 4500 yen for both days or 2500 if you only attend on 1 day.
参加費用は、1日のみで￥2,500、2日間で￥4,500となります。（ルームチャージや賞金等全てを含む）
On the first day there will be 3 games of Warhammer 40,000 played. On the 2nd day there will be 2 games played and the painting contest. However, visitors are free to play pick up games in any free time.
初日は、ウォーハンマー４０，０００を3ゲーム行う予定です。２日目は、２ゲームとペイントのコンテストを行います。但し、ペイントのコンテストに参加しない方は、その時間にゲームをして頂いても構いません。

Automatically Appended Next Post: This is NOT a tournament!!! Please bring an army that will be fun for you and your opponents. There is NO prize for winning except the adoration of your peers. We want this to be fun for all involved with the minimum of complaining, rules lawyering and absolutely no cheesey lists!
We're trying to organise this as more of a campaign. Each player will be put into a team depending on the army they bring (e.g. Orks). After each round the highest scoring team will get a bonus in the following rounds (e.g. Ork players will get a free Waaaagh for 1 unit). If a team does very well they will continue to get bonuses throughout the event.
There will be 5 games of varying sizes (500pts to 2000pts) played over 2 days along with a painting contest. (Which there may be a prize for if enough people show up). Each player is limited to 1 army but can bring multiple army lists.
Entry will be 2500 yen if you come for just one day. 4500 yen if you come for both.
There are only 30 spaces on each day for people who want to play and we have had 2 confirmations so far. If you want to enter and are SURE you will be free on those days, (i.e. dont say you'll be there if you usually go to your family home or country of origin every golden week and havent discussed it with your family yet).
