I just got some money by working and now I am buying my eldar army

Im not sure if this list is capable in tornaments or not

But on the look of it,I think its tough

Quite similar to the list I used to run. Your list is 20pts over the limit tho. Usually I just settled for one dragon squad. 5 Skimmer hulls but only 15 DAs and 8 Dragons.

HQ:
Farseer (Doom+RoWard) = 95

Troops:
5xDAs = 60
Serpent (Scatter+Cannon+Stones) = 135

10xDAs = 120
Serpent (Cannon+Stones) = 110

Elites:
8x Dragons (Exarch+DBF) = 140
Serpent (Cannons+Stones) = 110

Heavy:
2xPrisms = 230

Yeah, looks good, very sharp and burny However, I worry about the amount of boots you have to field. But, I also know that it's difficult to field alot of boots with all of those overly expensive Wave Serpents. A word of caution when you dismount; Be careful, otherwise people are going to rip your boots apart. As an ex-Dar player I would recommend getting some longer range in there, like Bright Lances or Missile Launchers. Bright Lances are always helpful and Eldar Missile lanuchers rock. That way you're not risking your entire list on the ground to expose a transport or two to fire. Guard Lists are going to pose a major problem for you. Ork Lists as well. You may get alot of shots with those Avengers but all it's going to take is one mob of 30 to ruin your day. You will not survive that, even if all of your boots are in the combat. But, I suppose that if you're going against orks you'll just skirt the table edges until the late game and then grab some objectives.

Bladestorm is indeed... not good enough for the job. You'll find that bladestorm makes pretty hefty failcake vs MEQ. Vs Greedsea and nids it's very worth, but vs armor 3 10 mans it won't get the job done.

Frankly, no. Blade Storm rocks, and it can take big chunks out of a unit. But, as with all powerful things, it's often used with some synergy. It isn't one of those end all be all kind of things. You're getting, what, 32 shots, if I'm not mistaken, from a ten man unit with an Exarch with a pairs of avengers while using Blade Storm. You don't have Guide so you'll hit with about 22 of those on average. Of that, assuming you have Doom up on the unit that you're firing at, you'll get about 13 wounds (I'm rounding up here) on a Toughness 4 opponent which is the highest statistical possibility because there are so many marines and orks out there. Of those 13 wounds about 4 marines will fail their saves. Even if you double up you're still not wiping the squad out. I've had a ten man unit of Avengers wiped out by a singular Sister of Battle with power weapon. It was pathetic I cried a little on the inside. My point being, you simply don't have enough to take on multiple units, and with this list you're always going to be outnumbered. How would you take on mech IG? You're going to blow 2 vehicles to smitherines and kill what's on the inside, no doubt. But, what about the other 7 to 10 vehicles with blast weapons and flamers and heavy bolters and so on?

Grim Smasha: What IG list can bring 12 AV 12 hulls to a 1k battle? Also your math is off, on average you will cause 5.7 dead marines with doom. Your point about squishy Eldar is still valid tho. Thats why I recomend that you stay inside the serpents at most times.

I'd consider three War Walkers with shuricannon.
Lots of dakka and very cheap.

Ah, my bad, I forgot we were talking about 1000 In the case of the Guard, you can reasonably fit 8 AV 12 vehicles in a 1000 point, with unit upgrades. I agree that War Walkers are great for the price, and they can outflank!
