Well the original Starcraft was very gory too. It still has an MA15+ rating here (our highest).

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

Excellent Exalted Champion of Chaos
Grim Forgotten Nihilist Forest.

Yea, I'd have to say Starcraft was alot more graphic then Starcraft 2, the marines would literally explode into a ball of gore.

Or the rescue mission level where you ahd to use the firebats?(is that what they're called? been forever, I can't remember.) to slowly clear the research station of Zerg,
and then when you rescue the human survivors you always get trapped in various areas where they're locked behind doors and you can't save them. And they explode ina ball of gore.
Ah... fun times... fun times.

Not to mention Zerg structures exploding in an XBAWKS HUEG shower of blood and leaving a pile of flesh and guts behind.
And Zerglings going splat.
And Marines going splat.
And Hydralisks going splat...
And Zerg air units bursting...
etc, etc.
