Here's another Crimson Fists list that I made. I think it's a lot more competitive than the other one, but tell me what you think!

Multimelta on the speeders is a bad idea. With the TML you want to stay at range so the free 36" HB is a much better choice.

4 tacticals squads when you have Pedro thats a waste of points...are footslogging sternguard is a bad idea. Do you plan on gating them with the expensive libby?

I agree. Using a troop base like that is just quite incredible.

Those Land Speeders are costing you just as much a rhino based equivalents (whirlwinds, preds, ect) and I think A pred or a whirlwind would be much more beneficial to your army considering its heavy support for four squads of tacticals. It would benefit your autocannon Dreads anyways. I really don't think duel TL autocannon is worth it. If you're looking for MM's somewhere, just leave the one on both Dreads.

I love the four tacticals. But I hate your Librarian that is costing more then Pedro Kantor. Why not just take a normal stock librarian for 100 points and use the rest for some more heavy support preds or dreads?

You're sternguard NEEDS a transport. Everything else in your entire army is in a transport of sorts, except your most experienced squad?!

I like the dreadnoughts. But the dread CCW brings a lot of versatility to it. especially in the pair dreads. And saves some points just leaving it normal. I just don't recommend TWO autocannons on dreads. Unless they are your primary transport buster.

Those Land Speeders I would switch out for a stronger more typical unit to provide heavy support. Your list looks really very strong, with some very eccentric picks and idea tossed in. Maybe streamline it just a little and give everyone transports?

Well, I'd downgrade the Epistolary to a Codicer with terminator armor and storm shield.
This gives you points to give the Sternguard a Rhino or Razorback.

Sounds great to me. Long as they get a transport.

What exactly does the Codicer do? I couldnt find the book entry relating Epistolaries and Codicers.

Its just a fancier/nerdier way of saying "Normal Librarian". The Libby should not be wearing Terminator armour at all since he doesnt have any Land Raider to ride in. Just take a standard libby without any upgrades and let him tag along with the Sternguard.

While the 2xTLAC dreads are great transport busters in a normal list they dont fit so well in a CF list since they take up Elite slots that should be used by your Sternguard instead. So you might wanna drop them for 2 ACLC preds.

Since you are taking Pedro you should have atleast two sternguard units and a maximum of two tactical squads in your list.

If I were to say, "now I have everything, and I want you to stay no matter what tomorrow brings"

Pedro Kantor himself is a really cool HQ, and I'm still a little in the dark of epistolaries and codiciers. Just leave him regular lib for 100 points. And try to field some more.

I don't think you necessarily NEED two sterngaurd if your using Pedro, but definitely your making use of his abilities if you are.

I would drop the Terminator armour and the storm bolter just use a Joe' Libby
Dreadnought - 2 x TL Autocannon -- 125
Dreadnought - 2 x TL Autocannon -- 125
6 Sternguard - 6 Combi-Meltas, Power Fist -- 205
While decent Dread configs I would take two sternguard units and with your list I would take 2 5 man squad in Razorbacks
Tactical Squad - Meltagun, Missile, Rhino -- 210
Tactical Squad - Meltagun, Missile, Rhino -- 210
Tactical Squad - Meltagun, Missile, Rhino -- 210

4 full squads are alot for 1850. I suggest breaking down two units to 5 man with Razorbacks.
Land Speeder - Multi-Melta, Typhoon Missile Launcher -- 100
Land Speeder - Multi-Melta, Typhoon Missile Launcher -- 100
Love Typhoon Launchers but are having a identity crisis with the Multi-melta as said above I would just take Heavy Bolter they can really lay out some punishment.

Alright...sorry I've been away for a little while but I bashed out a new list.

Pedro Kantor -- 175

Dreadnought - 2 x TL Autocannon -- 125

5 Sternguard - 5 Combi-Meltas, Power Fist, Razorback -- 215

6 Sternguard - 6 Combi-Meltas, Power Fist, Razorback -- 245

Tactical Squad - Meltagun, Missile, Rhino -- 210

Tactical Squad - Meltagun, Missile, Rhino -- 210

Tactical Squad - Meltagun, Missile, Rhino -- 210

2 x Land Speeder - Typhoon Missile Launcher -- 180

2 x Land Speeder - Multi-Melta, Heavy Flamer -- 140

2 x Land Speeder - Multi-Melta, Heavy Flamer -- 140

1850 exactly.

....also it's 15 kill points, most of which are either 11/11/10 or 10/10/10.

The goal of the old list was to gate around with the libby and then force dome up. That's why they had no transport.

I see that you mean with the typhoon speeders identity crisis so I swapped back to heavy bolters.

thoughts?

The only thing I would change is pulling the dread, dropping one stern, and taking the Libby. For cheap you get a psychic hood and some powers. Your gunna get a bunch of people saying that a 5 man sternguard squad is to small but used properly they can really do some damage.

Sense thet are in the army might as well put as many dudes as you can in those stern guard squads sense they can score.

Well I only have the five in the one squad sense (since?) Pedro needs a ride.

I could run the libby....i dunno if it'll get more mileage then the dread will tho.

I really like the dakka dreads. The sternguard gating around with the librarian not so much.

Gate of Infinity is not the only reason to take a Libby. First of you get the Psychic Hood which in itself is worth the 100 points. Second I don't leave the battle barge without Null Zone. The second power is up in the air, personally I take Avenger I love me some AP3 flamer.

A Libby in a 1850pt army is a good investment. However I woudlnt drop the Rifelman for it, drop one Sternguard (in order to fit the libby in a RB) and a tactical squad. 4 Scoring units is more than enough.

Take a ACLC pread for the remaning pts.
