Here is my Furioso Librarian conversion. I used bits from the terminator librarian and an old inquisitor mini, Tyrus, I think. The conversion work is all done I think and now I can finish the painting, which is only about 60% done. It still has a way to go, but let me know what you think!

Excellent, I was waiting for someone to build one of these! Your scroll work is beautiful, the red is rich, and the staff is excellent and doesn't look fragile in his hands. Great work!

AMAZING. I only just read through the Blood Angel codex today and had NO IDEA what a Furioso Librarian was. Until I read it and finally seen one. It is unique and look great.

Looks cool. But wouldn't a Libby Dread be blue? Or at least following the "normal" coloring scheme for Librarians anyway...

^ That comes down to your own personall fluff IMO. He's got blue bits, so it's a nod to the Librarian colour scheme.

I love it, there's certainly no confusion as to what it's supposed to be.

@ alpha,

I based the model with mechritr red and gave him a wash of devlan mud and then used straight skorne red from PP and highlighted with kahdor highlight also from pp.

I'm not a fan of the human style arms, but the conversion work and painting is quality overall.

Yeah it was a good song and I just couldn't resist...I was thinking about naming my Stormwing 'Upon Wings of Black' or something along those lines.

Simply awesome! The books and all the litany all over him along with a great eye for detail makes this a fantastic model. My only gripe is the color of the staff with the simple blue eagle topping it, just looks unfinished. Again, awesome job and like many others have said.

Very nice painting although the scrools and whatnot look a bit to clean, to make it a bit more parchemanty, I'd do it in bleached bone, hilight in skull white and wash it with gryphonne sepia.

Gonna necro here (sorry to those of you who hate necro) but I'm doing a libby conversion so I gotta ask, what'd you use for each hand? it seems a lot of greenstuff but is one hand from the inquisitor and the other from the terminator libby?
