I was wondering what people though about the possibility of using the new Orc Boar Boyz boars as mounts for the Space Wolves' Thunder Wolf Calvary.

I am not really sure if i like the idea or hate it, but just looking at them, I think they would be around the right size (Orcs are around the same size as Marines, after all), and be at least as good as the versions people have done with horses, and for only 25 bucks for 5 of them, it seem like it might be worth a try...

I suppose this could go in the modeling section, but my as my general question has more to do with the idea of putting space wolves on boars that the actual modeling of them, i thought here might be better.

So, what do you think? Would you even consider using/letting other people use the boars as mounts, or are they too small, too wrong for the fluff, or just too crazy for your liking?

Yeah, thats basically what i thought, and i know they would not need to be as big as Canis, since his wolve is bigger then the others, but yeah, they are probably still too small.

*Sigh* I think a part of me just wanted the idea to work.

Have them ride Carnifex , now thats something worthy ^^

I think the boars would be great for Catachans to ride. You know, when they're not riding dinosaurs.
