I recently purchased the Rites or War video game. I cannot get the game to run on my XP laptop. The game refuses to install. Could anyone please help?

I managed to get the demo running on my old XP machine, back a few years ago. Is the disc in decent shape? If XP has a compatibility mode option under preferences, have you tried that?

Shouldn't this be under the video game section? How is this 40k related? I never heard of this game, so does it have something to do with warhammer?

Yes, it does.

It was a turn-based strategy game released in 1999, and followed the Iyanden craftworld trying to conquer a Maiden World while fighting off against the Imperials and Tyranids.

I can't get the game to install, so I can't access it under compatibility mode since it won't install.

There's a video game section?
