do the base up and it looks great! Take it from a fellow painter with a mostly grey force, it does get old painting grey over grey plastic lol. i make up a newly unpainted squad and as they sit there amidst my army i just want to smack myself sometimes for not picking something a little more lively. or blame GW for using grey plastic lol.

I have to agree with you on the gray on gray thing, it does seem tedious doing gray, but i love the color and i wanted the shoulders to stand out on the model as well as the aquilla. This model was my first attempt at a conversion. The knife was swaped for a grenade and the bolter was a quick weapon swap from a plasma pistol. So hopefuly i can get back to painting as soon as Real Life lets me have some time. I might even start a blog in the PM blog forum some time soon.
