Alright new question for you. I want to take lysander and a command squad but do not have the points for a land raider. Can they drop in a drop pod? Really the question is, can an IC in terminator armor attach to a squad in a drop pod?

Yes, so long as the squad can buy a Drop Pod as a Dedicated Transport, but remember Terminators take up 2 slots.

Yes GKLuke, you can.
The total 'occupancy' for the Command Squad and Lysander would be 7, so that fits inside the CS's pod.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

I thought land raider's were the only vehicle that can carry Terminators?

No, Drop Pods CAN carry terminators, as in Terminator ICs, however as no terminator squads can take them as Dedicated Transports there is no way for them to get inside a Drop Pod.

Unless youre a SW, but thats becuase the pups are afraid of teleporters.

Black Templar terminators can too. Just sayin'.

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.

Space Marine codex lists drop pods as dedicated transports and that is not a selection for Terminators so they cannot be used.

In the Black Templar codex it states specifically "Transport: A drop pod may carry up to 10 space marines, 5 Terminators or 1 Dreadnought."

Thats cause if you have a drop pod on the field, and the unit that used it has already died horribly in battle against the hordes of orks they face, the termies can go run and hide inside and pray the meganobz go by without noticing them

Also it continued to say: Once passengers have disembarked they may not re-embark.

Just because orcs are willing to jump into a ramshackle husk of a vehicle to avoid being shot you should not assume others want to too. ;-)

Why would they waste termies on that when they can just vindi and plasma cannon them to death?

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

They try mate, they try, battlewagons and forcefields FTW in the larger games it is not uncommon to see me running 3 bwgs with 28 meganobz, 2 battlewagons having a mek with cybrok, KFF and PK to fit in

Yea.. one of my buddies decided to run a 6k annihilation battle against me, his terminators got ate for lunch by my horde of stompin snorting meganobz, he got one round of fire on them, where they were out in the open, he killed all but 3 who ran (in one unit of 10) One other group hopped back into the BWGN, the other never left a combat, he had left his units too close together, so i kept managing to multiassault, assigning enough hits to each to leave at least one alive. The meganobz munched through his troops, while the nob bikerz munched through his vehicles, ran a Ghazkhull thraka with one of the megaz, and a warboss on warbike with a Nob biker, unstoppable HIS SM didnt have a chance in hell, at end of battle i still had over 4k points on the table
