process remains the same until ld test is rolled for the targeted unit
- if failed unit falls back to its own edge as normal
- successful unit can either perform DoG attack as normal or choose to scamper out of the way.. here is where it gets interesting - if the unit decides to scamper/cower away they roll 1d6 (or 2d6 - haven't fully decided yet but 2d6 would probably be fairer.. (mabye even 1d6+1d3) and move in any direction the amount rolled (needs to remain in coherancy)
- now once their move is completed determine where the tank would complete it move and any models still in it path are removed as casualties (this can also be performed if the unit failed ld and has fallen back but is still in the way)
it think this sequence would make it more interesting and put more intrest in performing DoG attacks (alot of people i play like to pass leadership and let the tank pass through then shoot at its rear armour
still not sure what to do with the unsuccessful DoG attack (does the rest of the unit then try to scamper away) any ideas?? all are welcome

Idea: Don't buff mech builds even more.
