Bikers... they move into difficult terrain, they need to take a terrain test. Great.
If they want to launch an assault against a unit during the same turn, do they need to take another dangerous terrain test in the same turn?

Also, when they consolidate after a close combat in dangerous terrain, do they need a dangerous terrain test?
I was under the impression from reading the rules that you take 1 dangerous terrain test per turn if your entering / exiting terrain, but i'm unsure if this is correct, and i'm going to a tournament tomorrow where this will matter.

After the orbital strikes, Thunderhawk bombardments, Whirlwinds, Vindicators, fusion and starfire and finally Battle Brothers with flamers had finished cleansing the world of all the enemies of Man, we built a monastery in the center of the largest, most radioactive impact crater. We named the planet "Tranquility", for it was very quiet now.

Yes, to both. Just remember you don't HAVE to move when you consolidate. If you don't move, you won't cause a test.

damn, they don't make these rules friendly to bikers, do they? 1/3 of my army will die if I assault into difficult terrain, from the effects of the terrain itself :-/

Yea, but thay have other advantedges to make up for it. Give and Take, that's pretty much the basis of 40K IMO.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

I thought you only made one DT per phase, so the consolidate wouldnt trigger another one?

Actually, you don't have to take a dangerous terrain test when you consolidate after an assault. Look under the consolidation section on pg. 40 of the big rule book.
