HI there

I am trying to paint my wraithlord, I would like it to be in a ceramic white colour, (like the armour of the howling banshees on the box You get them, or something very similar) I want it to look as though it was made from wraithbone .
Any suggestions ??

There is no foundation white. If you think of the white in the painting starter kit, it is just skull white in a different bottle (same with black and boltgun metal).

False. I've done several tests with "undercoat black" against chaos black, and I've found that they're quite different. Undercoat is flatter, with less shiny texture. It also feels less "sticky".

"Gunmetal" is far different than boltgun metal. It has a much darker color, is "heavier" to paint, and has a flatter finish.

I've been using them side by side on a tank door, and there's definitely a difference between them.

The white is much less "sticky" than skull white as well, which seems to be a trend. I tried these on a termagaunt.

Unfortunately, GW doesn't sell anything called "foundation white". If you are talking about the white in the hobby starter set, I won't pay 30 pound just to see if the GW instructor lied. And then again 30 pound when the pod is empty. If they actually produced a superior "foundation white" different from "skull white", why not sell it?

Obviously, they want people to buy the starter set. I guess they got me! I've bought three of those just to get the black and white!
The starter set is for beginners to get a good feel for painting, which I'll say, it works! Even the brush is good. I've been using it as a wash brush for a while.

They don't sell it separately, because they want people to pay 50 bucks for it. haha

50 bucks for two pods of paint? They must be good then
Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy the spray cans?

Or you could get white craft paint which covers nicely, isn't sticky, in fact, it is nearly chalky in a great way. Plus you can't beat 1 buck for a large dropper bottle.

A single pod of something officially called "foundation white"?
At least on the webstore and in Germany it is not available.

As one of those beginners, well that was a year ago, I agree with this man, although you really can't live with how the black is glossy and not have chaos black.
Brush was awesome indeed, used it for everything, it doesn't really like drybrushing though....
