This came up in on of my recent games. A deff rolla has no AP value. Sooo..... if I ram a vehicle do I need to take the negative modifer "hit by a 'AP-' weapon -1" ?

It is essentially a CC attack. CC attacks do not have AP values... usually

exaclty right. its not a shooting attack so it has no ap value.
