Do you guys mount your attack bikes on bases, and if so which size?

-Any terrain containing Sly Marbo is dangerous terrain.
-Sly Marbo once played an objective mission just to see what it was like to not meet every victory condition on his own.
-Sly Marbo bought a third edition rulebook just to play meat grinder as the attacker.
-Marbo doesn't need an Eldar farseer as an ally; his enemies are already doomed
-Sly Marbo was originally armed with a power weapon, but he dropped it while assaulting a space marine command squad just so his enemies could feel pain
-Sly Marbo still attacks the front armor value in assault, for pity's sake. |

The ones i have seen on bases are on cavalry bases. I dont use bikes myself but have seen alot with and without due to some kits not including any. If you want some cool looking resin ones check out dragonforge.com

Attack bikes are too big for cavalry bases. I use the bases that dreadnoughts and the like come on. I think they're 60mm.

That's what I was thinking. Has there been any issue with tournament, since those bases are not what the models came on

My bikes dodn't come with bases. Problem solved!
All you have to say is "This is what my bikes came with." Unless they have a polygraph or a Time Machine, they won't know!

I don't know about the majority of people, but when I put them on display, it detracts from the whole thing.
Otherwise, yea... they don't come with a base and so, should not have a base, unless you feel like basing them and have to ask if it is "OK" with every opponent and TO...
But... what I don't get is why GW hasn't addressed the issue...why make it look completely out of place and then put in a rule that could backfire on the player for trying to make it 'look' right. /shrug.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
