Hi buddy, I'm curious to hear your thoughts on why 6 spore mines instead of 3 per unit? I'm currently using 2 units of 3's to deny positions and I'm loving it.

Also why on earth are you not running hive commander on the tyrant?

+1 reserve for the genestealers and a outflanking tervigon.... all for 25 points! Boy would I!

I like this list a lot. I would suggest swapping in some warriors who's kit is made out for shooting. I like shooty warriors, in that I hate playing against them. Check out this article for some hints on preparing for the Ard Boyz, these guys have some good thoughts. Capture and Control: Preparing for 'Ard Boyz

You think it's too many? At that point I was just trying to fill points up. Was thinking it would slow down some people and make them navigate around them.

Good call! I usually try and run him kinda light so to save some points. Although by cutting back those spore mines i could make some room.

Thanx for the link, nice and helpful. Why shooty warriors and what kinda weapons? I kinda look over them now as just bait considering their ID problem now. Not to mention the only shooting i really need may be for anti-tank.

With all the TMCs you've got, warriors are a great choice. Sure they can be ID'd, but who would spare the shots with so much else to shoot at. My buddy regularly runs an 8 Warrior brood, and I've never seen them all killed in a game.

No one kills more threads than me. Maybe I leave nothing else to say. Maybe my comments suck so hard people are left stunned. Who can say.

Not a bad write up. I still don't know though what to do with them. Get rid of more genestealers for the warriors and what weapons to give them? Hmm...decisions decisions.

Everyone seems to run with tank heavy in their Ard Boyz lists, so they will just drive the tank over the mines and remove them off the table. Don't expect spore mines killing anything, they are best to deny positions or push your opponent to where you want them so your stealers will catch them or force them reserve everything. 3 mines in each unit should be enough. That should free up some points for the Hive commandar upgarde for your hive tyrant.

Good luck in Ard Boyz, I sure hope to see some Tyranid place on the top 10 list.

Hmmm, outflanking Tervigon for some back yard shenanigans...awesome. I'm still not sold on the unit of warriors though, put the prime in the unit and give them all death spitters and go to town? My local scene is probably not gonna have too much armor although that is a good thought.
