Hi there, I recently acquired a few old, more than likely OOP miniatures, if anyone can provide any information on them I'd be very grateful, I'd like to put them up on eBay or something with a decent description for collectors and such.

The first one above simply has "Marauder" written on it's metal slotta base tab. I'm not even sure if this is a GW model or not, paint job by a GW employee in the 80's/90's.

The second model is called "Chaos lord" I'm guessing it's GW, and there should be a shield attached to the hand I think.

Now I know this one is an old RT Ork, armed with a heavy bolter, but does anyone know what set it's from?

Oh and if anyone wants any of these feel free to make me an offer, I'm not too attached to them..

Cheers

Metal ork could either be a blister release or part of the "ork raiders" box of metals from early RT (he's missing his head, which would help me narrow it down). Probably 1988/89. Looks like a Citadel ork. I've seen one just like it in a mate's collection.

SOLegends is SOL on this one. They don't even have the raiders box contents and just a handful of blisters (wierdboys and painboys came later, around the time of the eldar redesign).

Your first one, though, is a "Marauder" miniatures 'fighter command' figure. MM61 (FC5 in this pic) (Marauder was set up by Trish & Aly Morrison in 1988)

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Blimey, thanks for digging that info on the marauder miniature out for me! Very interesting stuff.

Here's a pic that I hope shows the Ork's head enough for you, camera just died so I hope it's enough.

Nope, have another look. I know it's not normal for an ork to be using his gun sight in this day and age but back then it was all the rage! You should be able to make out his goggles.
Other than that you are right. It's an ork raider.

Chaos Lord has got me foxed though.

Edit: Too slow leafing through a few old ctalogues. I didn't think that there would be anyone else up at this time. And especially not someone in Bristol!
Welcome to Dakka.

Oli: Can I be an orc?
Everyone: No.
Oli: But it fits through the doors, Look!

Better angle helped (ork).
Like I said, no pics of the raiders box up on SoL.
He was, however, available apparently in a blister as well.

Bottom right.
Thanks for that, Alex.
