I've been making lists throughout the weekends again

Here is my new idea:

HQ:
Farseer w/ Guide
Troops:
5 Dire Avengers Including Exarch w/ Power weapon and shimmershield
Wave Serpent w/ Shruiken cannon
5 Dire Avengers Including Exarch w/ Power weapon and shimmershield
Wave Serpent w/ Shruiken cannon
5 Dire Avengers Including Exarch w/ Power weapon and shimmershield
Wave Serpent w/ Shruiken cannon
5 Dire Avengers Including Exarch w/ Power weapon and shimmershield
Wave Serpent w/ Shruiken cannon
5Dire Avengers Including Exarch w/ Extra shruiken catapult
Wave serpent w/ Shruiken cannon

And again this list is mostly against dark eldar,not so much against other armies
I have tons of anti raider stuff,and almost as fast as them
But the problem is thier dark lances,I am still having trouble with it,so I decided to move fast,and maybe ram them if I have to
Generally I think this is the best anti dark eldar list I've made so far
But what do you think?

I might be underestimating it...but it doesn't look like you plan on killing a lot...mostly just surviving? Keep in mind if you move all out, and the Wave Serpent goes boom everyone inside goes with it.

As I understand it most Dark Eldar lists like lots of lances...so you're going to be getting shot at no matter what you do.

I'm also wondering why the power weapons and shimmer shields on the Dire Avenger Squads.

How many raiders does he run with?

About seven of 'em,and I do think I should take out the weapons and maybe something else

My 1000 point list would look something like:
HQ:
Farseer
-Guide
-RoWit
-RoWard

Troop:
3 x Guardian JetBike
-1 x Shuriken Cannon
1 x Warlock
-Embolden

3 x Guardian JetBike
-1 x Shuriken Cannon
1 x Warlock
-Embolden

Heavy Support:
Fire Prism
Fire Prism
3 x War Walker
-2 x Scatter Laser

Elite:
5 x Fire Dragon
-Wave Serpent
-TL Shuriken Cannon
-Spirit Stones

That comes out to around 950 I think. With any amount of luck you'd have the fire Prisms pop 2 raiders(one if you twin link it.) You could use the Guardians for the Shuriken Cannons. The Fire Dragons would also pop one open. The War Walkers could then also be used to pop a Raider. So hopefully you'd have popped a few by the end of turn 1.

With some good deployment they wouldn't get any shots off on the first turn, while you'd be able to get your 2 Prism's. Stay back and use cover and you'd be able to use the Bikes to shoot as well.

Upgrades for small DA units make not much sense.
If they are targeted, they die anyway.

I have those because my opponent has an archon,I plan on mobing him

Remember, you learn a lot more as a player if you build competitive all-comers lists and learn to use them.

I think a couple of arms upgrades on the serps. I know DE have vehicles you can potentially hurt with all that S6, but a couple of EMLs is a more trustworthy kill.

Yeah... list tailoring will get you a short term win... but honestly that list is a pile of fail cake. Once a serpent gets popped the unit becomes utterly useless, exarch or not.

Another thought is to switch out some Avengers for Swooping Hawks, which give you an unusual AT angle but also do well playing the shooty game. A list of nothing but avengers and hawks actually covers its bases pretty well with anti-horde from the bladestorms and gren packs, and AT from the haywires. Lacks counter-charge but hopefully stuff gets thrashed before they charge in the first place.

No offense but terrible idea. Like I said in my post, if your hawks actually get to touch tanks, your opponent has done something horribly wrong. If your opponent has half a brain they will launch a volley into the hawks the second they are seen and get smeared. T3 armor 4 is like putty, especially when your DSing in wit hthat pretty little pieplate/flamer formation.

Against IG or Equiv, DA and Hawks would be a god. Against MEQ and most competitive lists you'll get your teeth kicked in.

In fact, I always play competitive all-comers lists, never tailored lists.
Why do you fear an Archon with a mech Eldar army?

Well, the reason for swooping hawks I was thinking is they would be good (with appropriate exarch power) at knocking out those raiders. Sure they're squishy, but so are DE. This looks like a bloodbath waiting to happen. Two high offense armies with squishy little wimps inside their transports. When it comes down to it though, I'd rather a wave serp than a raider for durability.

this is wrong, they die if you move flat out and fail a difficult terrain test or you ram and manages to destroy your own serpent, if you get shot down they wont.

On topic, the list is full of fail and needs a complete remake.

I don't like it, if you want to run a fun/silly eldar list, run this:

Hide bikes in reserve, snarfle objectives, run towards enemies with harlies+wlords, avatar. Remember, shadowseers are psykers, so negate wraithsight. Kill DE transports with massed S6 fire, annihalate incubi with Avatar, don't let wlords get tarpitted by wyches, and kill off raiders, or ravagers if they have 3 dark lances. Also, don't let him see your list beforehand, as the advantage of this list lies in negating anything in the DE list other that wyches, agonisers, and dark lances. Dissies are relatively useless.

Well, the list of the OP is really good vs DE since their dark lances are just not more than missile launchers vs Serpents.
I'd consider mind war when the Farseer comes across the Archon.

Lances arent better than MLs vs anything in the Eldar codex...

Why is this? Is there a rule for vehicles going flat out being destroyed and the passengers being destroyed automatically too?

He is mistaken. If you move full out you may not disembark in that movement phase. If your wrecked you must disembark. So if your move full out and destroy yourself in the same movement phase then yes the contents die. If you move full out then your opponent shoot the serpent down, the content just disembark as the first condition does not apply.

I stand corrected. I guess I was thinking of the dangerous terrain one. On a side note I now lost the fear of loosing my scoring units by flat outing!
