I think you could do better just getting what you actually want off ebay.

If EVERYTHING except legs and bodies are included, then go for it, in ANY other case don't. eBay will be your friend in scenario 2.

do you get the shoulderpads and heads? If it is JUST the sprue with the LC and TH/SS sets, as well as minor bling, I think $25 is a bit much.. $16 sounds better. However, the shoulderpads and heads are easily worth $5-6 ..
