I read the 1st omnibus but a while ago, can you remind me which one Sven is please. Was he the one they thought would become a Chaplain?

Sven was the one who was killing all of Ragnar's doods before they became Spess Puppehs.

No. That was like, Niel, or Nels or something. And they figured he'd be a Rune Priest.
The second omnibus wrapped up faster than a hummingbird on speed.
[spolier]He's fine. Ragnar beats up Madox, gets the Spear back, and two seconds later Sven and co bust in and are all like, "whatup" and then the book ends.[/spoiler]

It was Strybjorn who kills Ragnars clan before they were marines.
Sven was his friend who got cut up by Maddox when they lost the spear and Nils died fighting a greater demon of nurgle the other one i can't remember died against the ork warboss/psyker in that same book but there were only 5 of them by the second book most having been killed by the Thousands son in the first book.

Sven is currently a Grey Hunter in Ragnars Great Company.
the guy who was a psyker(can't remember his name, but he wasn't Nils) dies fighting the warboss.
Sven is Ragnars best friend BTW.
