Here is my first mini post, let 'er rip.

This is my Terminator Librarian mod. It was originally a Space Hulk librarian. I added some bits, sculpted a beard, and (my favorite part) made a cloak of purity seals. It is my first attempt at lighting, activated power weapons, beards, and obviously, prayer scroll cloaks. It is also my first try at photographing mini's, and apparently the metalwork didn't come through :( Trust me, the brass steps are much more impressive in person.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

Stunning.

Not a fan of the storm bolter, though, might be the white against white background, mate, try to change it to a black background.

Love the glow effect on his face, very nice.

Nice. [:
Question, are the space hulk models the same scale as 40k?

Yes, though they need a base. I haven't bought one for mine yet.

Yup they are.

That's great. Ive removed the iconography from mine and am painting him up to use as the leader of my Ultramarine force. Nothing as impressive as yours though.

I take it then that it is obvious that I didn't do the full shade up on the storm bolter? Darn. Yeah, I primed white and was seeing if anyone would notice the small part where I didn't do a full shade job and just left it as white primer.

...oh no...I have just gotten this fantastic vision of the 40k fellowship of the ring! Lets see...I would need four squats (hobbits obviously), but what else.

A SM captain for Aragorn?
Eldar Ranger for Legolas
Karkison for Boromir?
I guess I could find a old squat model for Gimli

...my goodness this is an awesome idea...

Retroactively applied infallability is its own reward. I wish I knew this years ago.

I'm both chaotic and orderly. I value my own principles, and am willing to go to extreme lengths to enforce them, often trampling on the very same principles in the process. At best, I'm heroic and principled; at worst, I'm hypocritical and disorderly.
