This is undoubtedly an easy question, but i seem to have lost my rules book. Tanks can only shoot at one target right? in the shooting phase my predator has to fire its turret and sponsons at the same unit?

Yes, normally a unit can only shoot at one other unit. Special rules are required to shoot at more units, although blast markers may affect models from more than one unit.

I think machine spirit allows you to choose a different target then the original one with one weapon but I'm not sure.

Your Grandmaster is the only good leprechaun that remains, all the others turned to whiskey.

It does indeed, and now does it at normal BS not BS2, making marine land raiders even better than they used to be compared to Chaos ones.....

Do Baal predators get power of the machine spirit? I had thought it was only land raiders but I may be wrong.

Nope, it was just to point out the standard exception to the normal rules does exist here.
