I wrote a Last Chancers rules article a few months back, so here it is:

Inside that little light in your refridgerator

Looks cool, my only issue is that you forgot Lieutenant Kage!

I'll post some stats for him, if you wanna add him in in an edit.

Lt. Kage - 85pts
Ws - 5
Bs - 4
S - 3
T - 4
A - 3
W - 2
I - 5
LD - 8
Sv - 5+/4+

Kage is armed with a hot shot lasgun and his belt of knives (counts as two CC weapons)

Special Rules:
Infiltrate
Move through cover

Kages Knives - Confers rending to Kages attacks

Touched by fate - Kage's lucky streak and penchant for living confers him a 4+ inv. save

Crazy - Kage must always charge an enemy if he is able to do so and counts as fearless in assaults. He also gains an extra attack when charging, in addition to the norm (when he assaults, he gains 1+ attack for charging, 1+ for dual combat weapons, and 1+ because he is crazy, for a total of 6 attacks on the charge)

Schaeffer Must Die - Kage's hatred for Schaeffer drives him. However he is (for the most part) not stupid enough to attack him. During the shooting phase, take a LD test for Kage. If he fails, he immediately shoots at Schaeffer.

I would say this is quite fair. He is very powerful in assaults, and quite survivable. He of course has the downside of being Fearless, and that there is a chance he will attack Schaeffer.

:EDIT: somehow spelt 'S_P' wrong

I left Kage out because he was not in the original last chancers when they came out in the third edition IG codex and as a box set squad. He was included in the 4th edition codex, but never given, to my knowledge, a model.

His rules in the fourth edition looked to be a toned down version off what you produced. I could see giving the option of including Kage in the last chancers for those that desire him enough to convert their own model of him, but he would probably resemble more of the fourth edition rules rather than your incarnation of him and be around 40 points. I like the idea of giving him rendering – I would write it off as his latent psychic powers guiding his blows rather than special knives. Marbo probably would be a good proxy for Kage.

Is scope's rule like the vindicare assassin's ability?
Picking the casualty? Wording could have been slightly clearer on that.
otherwise: Great!

"Three things make the Empire great: Faith, Steel and Gunpowder!"

Expect my posts to have a bazillion edits. I miss out letters, words, sometimes even entire sentences in my points and posts.

Yes it is, I rephrased the rules for clarification. Glad you liked the article.
