I haven't played since 4th, where you could only cram half a squad of Terminators into a Land Raider, but the new rules say Squad, and the Land Raider info says 12 units max.
Is it safe to say I can put an entire 10man Terminator assault squad into 1 Land Raider and include a special character or two?

Sadly, no. Terminator armor takes up 2 slots, so you can fit a maximum of 6 members inside one.

Except in a Crusader you can fit 8, because it has a capacity of 16 models.

What I see is folks taking a crusader with 7 termies and an HQ (usually in termie armor as well) or a Redeemer with 5 termies and an HQ.
It would be nice if 10 termies could fit inside. Thats would be a "just plain wrong world o hurt" you could dish out.

yes it would be nice, i will agree, but sadly terminators are just too bulky, maybe in the far flung future they will uncover lost tech?

Ok, thanks, I think I found it. It was hiding in the SM ARMOUR section of the codex:
"Terminators count as two models for the purposes of transport capacity, and cannot embark Rhinos or Razorbacks"

Yup, the best way to get a big mess of terminators somewhere is to deepstrike them... but that has its own risks.

Yea, DSing is not a great option for termies, but it is an option if you see a lack of plasma cannon equivalents.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
