Ive been working on a mixed mech foot list for quite some time now with mixed success. Just looking for feedback on this and where the last 10 points should go or alterations that should be made. Ive used a variation of this list with a squad of 3 warwalkers with scatter lasers in place of the Prism, but their lack of mobility and survivability make me feel the Prism is a better choice. While this is an all comers list my local gaming environment is very MEQ heavy.

Ive debated using pathfinders in their place, and also dropping the Lord's sword for a different ranged weapon. Im also curious if im over spending on the scorpion squad?

At 1k that is a chunk of point on scorpions, but if your having luck with them then keep with it. I've foudn that they are too hit and miss for my taste. If they come in near something they are great, if they don't it was wasted points.

GJBs you do not always need a cannon on the squad, however 3 GJB is a stupidly easy killpoint if you get annihilation. One krak missile knocks one off and they high tail it off the board due to low morale.

Wraithlord either go two AT weapons, two Anti-Troop weapons, or just the Wraithsword. With the sword you want CC so run in the shooting phases and if your not running you want to take shots with 2 weapons. Your prob finding by now that 1 shot at BS4 it really hit and miss.

So would it be better to run a single 6 man GJB squad with two cannons in place of the smaller units of three?

I have had luck with the Scorpions too, in objective games I can do a lot for them through objective placement and with the wraith lord and Fire prism putting pressure it forces opponents to the outside for the scorpions (I also think the models look great)

I personally like rangers/pathfinders

Infiltrate is nice to have, plus a 2+ cover is great with the pathfinders

Ill agree with that, I am fond of Pathfinders as well im just nervous making them 1 of my 2 troop choices since they are static and die to CC so easily. That could be my fault though, not knoing how to properly support them
