Hello, just a few questions about Drop Pods:

1: If a DP door would come down on an enemy unit, or a piece of terrain, does it stay closed, therefore preventing the weapon inside from shooting / drawing los through it?

The doors are just for looks. They have absolutely 0 impact on the game. Not DT, not cover, nothing.

You can glue DPs closed and still shoot the gun, and usually people just say anything that could potentially be seen *through* a pod get a cover save.

Ok thanks for the response, it came up in a game today and we just wanted to be sure we are treating them the right way.

I had a friend make is droppod without the restrains or center console because well one he was lazy and two he was gunna use it as a Dreadnought drop pod. I told him that's kool and all but I know there's gunna be some one that looks "through" the drop pod and say "well it's not 50% covered" and blast your dread in the back. First game he played with it someone did just that. Can't really argue about it :shrug:
