Does anyone have a cheaper alternative to GW's primer... I have tried others and the coverage wasn't small enough to really cover the smaller detail on minis... Does anyone have experience with this?

go to lowes or home depot and get a can of $0.99 spray paint.

GW don't make or sell a primer.

They sell spray paint. Primers are a different formulation and are designed to tightly bond to the surface and allow a better surface for paint adhesion.

ColorPlace is sold at walmart, its .99-1.20 a can and works just as well, if not better than the GW crap.
